“Making this year’s show another battle of the super-fans, the hit comedy “The Hangover” leads with six nominations; the blockbusters “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and “Avatar,” are neck-in-neck with five nods each; and audience favorites “The Proposal” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” are each up for four awards. “Team Edward” and “Team Jacob” — make room for “Team Na’vi” as “The Twilight Saga” prepares to defend its popcorn statue legacy against “Avatar” in the “BEST MOVIE,” “BEST KISS” and “BEST FEMALE PERFORMANCE” categories. Comedies get a little cut-throat too as stars of “The Proposal” Sandra Bullock and Betty White get in the faces of “The Hangover” stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong in the “BEST WTF MOMENT” and “BEST COMEDIC PERFORMANCE” categories. Showing that fan loyalty of “The Twilight Saga” knows no limits, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will go up against each other in the “GLOBAL SUPERSTAR” category and the men of “New Moon” will face-off against “Harry Potter” superstar Daniel Radcliffe for the “BEST MALE PERFORMANCE” award.”
