Stephenie Meyer as a Producer & Will it be One or Two Films?

Stephenie is producing Breaking Dawn:

“Summit Entertainment has confirmed that Academy Award® winner Bill Condon will direct THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN, based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN, is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg, and will star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt, and Stephenie Meyer will produce the project.”

This is awesome news because I don’t believe she has been formally credited as a producer on any of the films as of yet. Having the author as a important part in production is bound to make it close to the book! Especially with BD, it’s a daunting task for any director.

Also…do you guys want it to be one or two movies? Judging from the press release, it SOUNDS like one film, but we all know Stephenie wants two. That aspect is still entirely up in the air! Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
