Robert Pattinson is as popular as US President Barack Obama.
The New Moon hero can't relax on nights out and is constantly mobbed by photographers and fans.
His co-star Mike Welch told MTV: "Rob cannot be in public and be static for more than five seconds without being mobbed.
"If he's in a room and he looks down and he looks back up, (in that instant) everyone in the room will be staring at him. It's kind of ridiculous. (That level of fame) is literally Rob Pattinson and Barack Obama."
Twilight actress Christian Serratos added: "It's so funny but it's true. There's a love for Rob, which is completely understandable. But despite all that, he's still completely relaxed and completely laid-back.
"I don't know how it's possible, but he's really just chill."
Rob is naturally quite shy and sometimes struggles with being in the spotlight.
He had to do a few scenes in Italy without a top on and was so shy he kept ducking into buildings everytime the director shouted "cut."
