‘New Moon’ Mistakes

Moviemistakes.com has made a list of all the mistakes in the ‘New Moon’ movie. I always love to see if I can find them myself haha. Most times I can’t. I do wonder how these guys check the mistake lol!
Continuity: When Bella is in the parking lot at school in the beginning, Edward walks toward her. Bella’s hair is neatly pulled off to the side. When he leans in for the kiss it is suddenly stuck to her forehead, and when Edward tells her Jacob wants her, it’s suddenly back to normal.

Continuity: In the scene where Bella is in the meadow talking to Laurent, Bella’s hair is at first straight and then in the next scene it is wispy and pushed back and then it is straight again.

Continuity: When Bella goes to the Cullens’ house for her birthday party, Alice takes the new camera that Charlie got Bella and takes a picture of Bella and Edward. But when Bella prints out the picture and puts it in her scrapbook, it looks nothing like the picture Alice took.

Stars of ‘New Moon’ Take Over IMDB’s STARmeter

So the stars of New Moon has taken over IMDb’s STARmeter for most searched!
So, to the point. The cast of The Twilight Saga: New Moon has absolutely taken over the IMDb STARmeter.

As has been the case with many a chart, the Twilight cast holds seven of the top ten spots on this viewer and reader search-based calculation of interest system.

At the top is Taylor Lautner, followed by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (former reigning champions of the weekly number one spot on many occasions). Also on the list are Dakota Fanning, Ashley Greene, and Nikki Reed (notice a trend, ladies? Yes, that’s the sound of new “Twi-Guys” taking note of the female lookers on the New Moon castlist) as well as Jackson Rathbone.

The New Moon cast proliferation, though, stops not at the top ten. Within the top fifty, there’s also a wealth of Twilight star names, including Kellan Lutz, Jamie Campbell-Bower, Anna Kendrick, Michael Sheen, Peter Facinelli, Billy Burke, and Cam Gigandet. …

Ashley Greene Auditioned for the Role of Bella

Ashley Greene said the she auditioned for the role of Bella when she appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly Monday!
New Moon‘ star Ashley Greene auditioned for role of Bella Swan – Appearing on Live with Regis and Kelly Monday morning, actor Ashley Greene said that she auditioned for the part of Bella Swan twice before landing the role she has as vampire Alice Cullen. The Twilight Saga: New Moon also stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.
The Jacksonville, Florida native was working as a hostess in a restaurant when she found out about the audition and read the first book in the popular Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. As soon as she read it, she says, “I was dead set on getting the role, worked my tail off, auditioned five times and finally got that call.”

But the call wasn’t for the role she initially tried out to get.
“I started out with Bella. I auditioned for that role twice and met with Catherine (Hardwicke, Twilight’s director), and they just kind of decided I wasn’t quite right for that, which I was really bummed about, and then about a week later they called and said why don’t you come in for Alice, and I was more than happy to come on for Alice.”

Ms. Greene also will appear in the third movie of the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which is currently in post-production and will hit theaters in June, 2010.

Variety: Breaking Dawn as Two Films is an Expensive Undertaking

The two-week $481 million worldwide gross of “New Moon” has vaulted Summit Entertainment into the big leagues, but it also has created a high-class challenge for toppers Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger.
They will likely have to cut a few big checks if they decided, as rumored, to split Stephenie Meyer’s final “Twilight” novel, “Breaking Dawn,” into two pictures. Sources said Summit has set Melissa Rosenberg — who wrote the first three films — to finish the series, but Summit has to clear several hurdles before Rosenberg learns how many more scripts she’ll write.

One of those hurdles is figuring out whether “New Moon” director Chris Weitz will respond favorably to overtures from the film company and the cast to shoot two more films, back to back.

EW’s Ashley Greene Interview

EW also sat down with Ashely Greene for an exclusive interview!
Are the reactions to Twilight the same all around the country?
I was impressed in Chicago, actually. Chicago was really, really intense and loud and I think it was one of the bigger responses that we had. But there’s always a lot of people, a lot of passion, a lot of screaming, a lot of crying. So really it’s all measured in terms of how deep the screaming goes.

Was it much different than last year?
I guess it’s more intense. I’m much more comfortable with this whole thing. I didn’t really know what to expect at all when I first got into it. It was my first gig, and so it was a little crazy and I was really nervous. And so now you know the fans are there because they love you and they support you. …
